Video surveillance
Image capture, processing and analysis
NextiraOne’s service-led approach offers complete, video surveillance systems encompassing initial audit and risk assessment through to design and installation. Our experts can advise you on every aspect from camera location to network infrastructure, including video management systems, storage of information, displays, alarm management, mapping and image analysis.
Our experience in video protection systems across Europe, coupled with our expertise as an integrator of IP solutions, allows us to develop customised solutions, covering the entire processing chain from camera image to end user via the IP network, using recorders, encoders, Graphical User Interface (GUI) software and image analysis. The use of IP networking provides a standardised platform, better information handling and cost control.
We can meet all aspects of your video surveillance needs through our end-to-end service approach, including:
- Project management
- Image processing
- Image analysis
- Links to other security systems
- Audio alerts
- Graphical User Interface
- Alarm and event management
Project management
NextiraOne security experts can help you from initial audit and risk assessment to full deployment of video surveillance hardware, software and networking, including the positioning of cameras, design of control centres, training of operators, maintenance of the system and full operational support through our managed services.
Image processing
Our experience in video protection systems and expertise in IP networking allow us to manage the entire process from the initial image capture to its transmission, management in the control centre to image analysis.
Image analysis
Image analysis allows an organisation to improve its responsiveness to risk situations, irrespective of whether or not it has 24 hour monitoring. It can also be used for other purposes such as counting people, identifying individuals, vehicle tracking and customer surveillance.
Linking video surveillance and other security systems
Making the right decision requires having the right information. NextiraOne helps you to link all your security sub-systems in order to give operators and users all relevant information concerning an event.
Audio analysis
Audio analysis complements your video surveillance by allowing the identification of sounds such as cries for help, sounds of a dispute or the breaking of glass. These can be used to trigger alarms, guiding cameras to the scene and alerting the right people to handle the situation.
Graphical User Interface
The GUI (Graphical User Interface) is a key element in video protection because it allows user-friendly management of the system, providing mapping, handrails, event management and also links to other security systems. It also provides the ability to create multi-vendor solutions. NextiraOne works with selected partners who have integrated ONVIF PSIA protocols into their solutions.
Alarm and Event Management
Video surveillance alarms, together with alerts from other security systems are organised and linked through alarm servers and monitoring applications that control the information remotely. The data produced can be used to provide relevant information for users.
