NextiraOne integrates Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, and authentication (802.1x) solutions into all WAN, LAN and WLAN networks, allowing anti-virus patterns, client processes and client health status to be checked. Based on the information gathered, client devices can be updated, cleansed or rejected automatically, without user or administrator intervention.

Also critical to ensuring network security are Intrusion Detection Systems or Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS). These solutions monitor and inspect the traffic on the network or host and will send alarms when malicious activity or abnormal behaviour is detected that does not comply with your pre-defined security policies.
