IPTV Solutions
IPTV allows the distribution of TV channels via the IP network in order to improve image quality and provide user-friendly services and access to Video on Demand (VoD) content.

Already widely used in hospitals, the hospitality industry and the public sector, IPTV can provide entertainment content (VoD, Pay TV) and a user-oriented interface (targeted language, channel and preferences) as well as specific information relating to the location. The system may be linked with the hotel or hospital management system (back office).

Digital signage
Digital signage provides a digital information display that delivers a wide variety of content to the screens via the IP network. The content may be different types including Flash, AVI, PPT, RSS feeds, DVD and TV channels and the application has many uses, from customer information, information on room bookings, interactive point of sale information via touch screens, to advertising and training.

Digital signage can also be linked to IPTV, allowing businesses and communities to mix and plan the distribution of TV streams and other content such as promotional films and training programmes.

Webcasting and Rich Media Services
Webcasting or Rich Media enables the real-time streaming of video and powerpoint presentations, for example, to a large number of users via IP LANs or WANs. The ability to broadcast live to many people in real time ensures the clarity and integrity of the information content.

It can be used in a variety of ways, to broadcast a message from the CEO or a senior manager for example to providing human resources information within an organisation. It provides a means of communicating quickly and effectively to the greatest number of people via their personal computer whether they are at work or not. The technology also meets the needs of the education/training sector who may wish to train students on remote sites or in work-based programmes.

Video Portals
Video are becoming an increasingly popular tool for communications and this presents a challenge for businesses and the public sector in how to catalogue, upload and archive the information. Creating a video portal is the ideal answer for indexing these videos and allowing them to be posted, together with the ability to see their evaluation and the access statistics.

The video portal can be an important addition to your organisation’s intranet and collaborative workspaces. It allows HR, Services, Sales, Marketing and other departments to post their information and measure the response to it. Examples could include the publication of new HR procedures, new customer offers and a security training video, amongst others.
